What can I expect during the worship services?
Services at NBEM will be for two purposes: 1.) To invite the presence of the Holy Spirit to commune with the people, and 2.) To edify, encourage, and empower the people to live an overcoming life.

Worship services will be power-packed, filled with dynamic music and enlivened teaching and preaching of the Word of God.  It will be common for parishioners to lift their hands in surrender and praise to God; it will not be uncommon to see men and women crying, or in the aisles dancing unto the Lord; and many will testify of having a spiritual encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ that will strengthen them to persevere through any test or storm.

New Beginnings Empowerment Ministries' worship services are lively, explosive, and wonderfully enriched with the Word of God.

What attire should I wear?
With the exception of those in leadership roles, there is no dress code that is practiced at NBEM.  You will feel comfortable, and be welcomed, in whatever attire you choose to wear.

As the ministry expands, we envision that there will be  times of recognition, celebration, or just pure fun (Super Bowl Sunday, Throw-back Sunday, Dress-Down Sunday, etc.) where we will designate a time of "dressing down" to simply add variety and a sense of fun to the atmosphere of a church service.

What do you believe about the Bible?
At NBEM, we believe and teach that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, and is viewed as the Canon (yardstick, rule of measure) by which we govern our lives.  Each message preached and/or taught, as well as the practices and ordinances that are observed, obtain their basis and foundation from the Bible as its source.

To learn more on what we believe about the Bible, follow this LINK to Bible section on the About Us page.

What form of ministry is there for children?
Being that we are a new church in the infancy stage, currently there is no ministry provided for the children/youth of NBEM.  However, it is our sincere desire to provide quality ministry for our children once the church has grown and qualified children/youth ministry leaders avail themselves.  We have no doubt that in the  near future God will provide the necessary candidates to carry forth the vision of an ever-expanding, successfully developed ministry for our children.

Are you affiliated with any particular denomination or ministerial alliance?
New Beginnings Empowerment Ministries is a Non-denominational Pentecostal church, having no direct connection or affiliation with a traditional denominational church organization.  However, NBEM and Pastors John and Diana Cooper receive spiritual covering from Bishop Jeff Poole who  pastors New Hope International in Warner Robins, Georgia.  Tracking the spiritual lineage, we find that Bishop Poole's pastor is Clint Brown who Pastors Faith World in Orlando, Florida; Pastor Brown's pastor is Bishop Eddie Long, who pastors New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia, Georgia; and Bishop Long's pastor is Bishop T.D. Jakes, who pastors The Potter's House in Dallas, Texas.

Pastor John Cooper is also an affiliate minister with the International Seminary Ministerial Alliance of Plymouth, Florida.
